Accounting Manager at Elcare Nordic

Are you a confident accountant who enjoys personnel responsibility, structure, and operational accounting - but does not necessarily want to be a CFO? At Elcare Nordic, you will have a central role where you lead a team, work closely with the CFO, and are responsible for accounting in a Nordic company with clear frameworks, short decision-making paths, and strong growth.

This role is suitable for you if you are currently, for example, an accounting manager, senior accountant, or CFO in a medium-sized company and want to focus more on leadership and quality in accounting within a larger organization.

Your Responsibilities

As an accounting manager, you have an operational and business-related responsibility for accounting while leading and developing our Claim team consisting of six employees. The role combines daily leadership with responsibility for structure, quality, and follow-up.

You work closely with the CFO and are an important support in analysis, reporting, and year-end closing work. The role also includes collaboration with our outsourced finance team in India, which requires clear communication and an unpretentious working style.

The role has a clear operational focus and is not a classic strategic CFO role, but a defined managerial role focusing on accounting, team leadership, and stable delivery in daily operations.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Claim team in their daily work
• Create structure, clear working methods, and good division of labor
• Ensure correct accounting according to applicable regulations
• Ongoing reconciliations, follow-up of expenses, and quality assurance
• Support the business in questions related to finance and invoicing
• Be responsible for declarations and reporting, for example to SCB
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings as well as audits in close collaboration with the CFO

Your Profile

You have a solid foundation in accounting and feel confident in leading others. You appreciate working closely with your team, are clear in your leadership, and thrive in a role where you combine operational work with responsibility for people and structure.

We believe that you:

• Have experience in accounting and financial follow-up work
• Have had personnel responsibility or a clear coordinating responsibility previously
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English
• Have good knowledge of Excel and preferably experience with SAP or similar business systems
• Are solution-oriented, stable, and enjoy being close to the business

You do not need to have worked in an exactly similar role before - the most important thing is that you are confident in both accounting and leadership.
